"An artist from birth, and drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil, I have always experienced my world through the realms of color and shape.

"It is only in the last five years that I have begun to establish myself as a serious painter. I enjoy working in both watercolor and acrylics. I am a transplanted New Yorker who finds inspiration and bliss in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest of the United States and in my Oregon home. My passion is figure drawing and painting people in nature. The Oregon Coast, where the mountains meet the sea, sings the song of power, infinite beauty and possibility. The rainforest and the valleys calm with their lushness and fertility. The high mountain desert and snowy peaks express openness and grandeur. 

I teach art to elementary and middle school students. My mission is to motivate young minds to be excited about using their own creative process for problem solving, information exploration, raising self esteem, and for sheer enjoyment."
